Experience the Kearney Family Y Preschool program; it’s a good place to grow! Kindergarten readiness skills are included in the curriculum.

We offer preschool for children who are one or two years away from attending kindergarten. Our nine month preschool is offered mid August through mid May and the classes focus on age appropriate skills, large motor development, songs, games and crafts.

Fun, fitness and emphasis on kindergarten readiness in a nurturing and safe environment are what you expect at the Kearney Family Y.

EAST CAMPUS

Our East Campus site is for children 3-4 years of age. Classes are offered 9:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. on Monday & Wednesday or parents may choose Tuesday & Thursday.

Children will need to be 3 by July 31 before classes start. Our class focuses on emotional & social development, large & small motor development, literacy, songs, games, health & safety, swim days, & kindergarten readiness skills. We ask that your child be potty trained before attending preschool.

WEST CAMPUS

Our West Campus site is for children who will be in kindergarten the following year. Classes are offered Monday through Friday in the morning or afternoon.

Children must be 4 years by July 31 before classes start. Our class will focus on Kindergarten readiness skills within the seven domains of emotional/social development health and physical, language, literacy, math, science, & creative arts. Our caring, safe & nurturing environment sets the tone for learning while having fun.
