The Kearney Family Y offers programs that provide an opportunity to maintain good health, further friendships, and encourage social time. The Y is a place that our adult members depend on - where they can improve their lives, build relationships and continue a positive outlook on life.



This class is for you! Y instructors will bring in different types of equipment paired with some lower level cardio to change up your workout just enough. You will work at YOUR level with friends while being led by cheerful instructors who are passionate about making a difference. Your workout will be topped off with a stretching and balance segment…something everyone needs more of!

Aqua Zumba

Looking to shake up your fitness routine? Jump into the Latin inspired, easy to follow, calorie burning dance party that is sure to make a SPLASH! This class is instructor led in our pool with “get moving” music and sure to be a favorite for all.

Aqua Fit

Enjoy the water? This is the class for you! Instructor led in the shallow part of our pool mostly. We offer you a less intense water aerobics class and the ability to work at your level of intensity.


Muscular Strength & Range of Movement (MSROM)

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises that can increase muscular strength, range of movement & activity for daily living skills. Hand held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered for resistance and a chair used for seated and/or standing support.

Senior Day

Wednesday is a super day at the Kearney Family Y. We welcome our senior guests who are not members on this day for $4. Enjoy coffee before and after classes offered as well as social time. Pool, fitness center and group exercise classes are all open for you on this day.

Fitness on Your Own

Interested in working out on your own and need some assistance getting started? Mornings at the Kearney Family Y, you can take advantage of knowledgeable staff in our Fitness Center to help you with equipment or provide an orientation to begin a fitness program.
